How many quotes I will get?
Our users receive on average at least 3 quotes within a few hours. However, we suggest you to wait up to 24 hours to get additional quotes from interested transport providers.
I haven't received any quote, what should I do?
If after 24 hours of publication of your questions still have not received quotes, be sure that the request is actually published (Status: Active). You can also try to find carriers who have already carried out transport on your route and invite them to get a quote, using the specific function that you find in the carrier card.

Transport providers with few or no feedbacks tend to send very cheap quotes exactly because they want to start up their activity on Spedingo. If you want to evaluate their reliability, we suggest you to check within their Spedingo’s profile if they are marked as “Verified Transport Providers”.
I received an unattractive quote, what should I do?
We suggest you to refuse the quotes you do not like. This way you will help third transport providers to better understand you needs and you will likely receive quotes better aligned with your expectations.
I need further information on a quote, how can I talk to the transport provider?
You can contact the transport provider through the section “questions & answers” available in the quote’s detail page. This way your written conversation with the transport provider will be also visible to other transport providers, which, in turn, will be able to provide you with their quote.
Book a delivery
How long does it have to take before booking a delivery?
We suggest you to book a delivery as soon as possible in order to commit the transport provider and, at least, a few days before the expected date of collection.
What does “booking a delivery” mean?
Booking a delivery means asking a transport provider to reserve space for your load on his truck and asking him to contact you back in order to arrange the delivery.
How to pay a delivery?
When booking the delivery you will be required to pay a small downpayment (at most 10% of the whole quote), while the remaining balance will be paid directly to the transport provider before collection, after delivery or in any other way formerly agreed with the transport provider.
Is the booking of a delivery binding?
No. If you decide to withdraw your reservation you will simply not be required to pay the remaining balance.
Why the booking of a delivery require a downpayment?
The downpayment represents a guarantee to the transport provider of the fact that you are truly interested in the quote you are booking.
Is the downpayment safe?
Yes, because we do not immediately forward the downpayment to the transport provider until the delivery is completed. Furthermore, the payment is powered by PayPal: this way you can be sure that your credit card details are not disclosed neither to the transport provider nor to Spedingo’s staff.
Execution or withdrawal of a delivery
I just booked a delivery. How long it will take to get contacted by the transport provider?
It depends on the timetable of your delivery. Urgent deliveries see the transport provider getting in touch with the client almost immediately, while for deliveries to be done at a later stage you can expect the transport provider getting in touch with you just a few days before collection. In any case you will be provided with full contact details of the transport provider after the quote reservation, so contact him if you need an update.
Who assures me that the feedback is truthful?
The feedback released on Spedingo cannot be driven by the carriers: to release a feedback you have to be registered, you have to enter a transportation request and pay through the site a reservation deposit.
What happens if the transport provider cancel the delivery?
Your downpayment will be fully refunded within 48 hours.

How to release a feedback for a completed delivery?
Just log-in to the website, enter your personal area, select the completed delivery and click on “release feedbacks”.
What about invoicing?
The transport provider who carried out the delivery is the counterparty in charge of the invoicing process. He is required to issue the invoice for the entire amount of the quote, that means downpayment plus remaining balance.
